Nick Duriez, City Airport’s director, said: “We’re really looking forward to the Family Fun Day and Dog Show on Easter Sunday. It’s the first year we’ve held the Dog Show in conjunction with Reach Sled Dogs and it’s set to be a fun day for everyone who attends.

“Our family events are hugely popular in the local community and it’s a great chance to see what’s on offer here at City Airport. With our onsite Café Bar, plus viewing and picnic areas, we provide a welcoming environment for all ages.

“Families and flying fans flock to the airport during spring and summer weekends to watch the aircraft and helicopter take offs and landings. It’s a fantastic setting for a fun day out.”

The event runs 11am-4pm and is free to attend, plus car parking is free. Dog owners can enter the awards for £2 per entry.
